Ms. Amanda's life was ever changed, at the young age of 18, after reading the book called "Education for a New World" by Dr. Maria Montessori. She completed her Montessori training in Ireland and eventually founded MCH in 1996. Her dream was for MCH to be the perfect Montessori House. She continues to make this dream come true as she passionately guides young students through our program giving them the best gift they will ever receive, a Montessori education. In her free time, she enjoys being a mother, gardening, and volunteering at the Tampa Bay Humane Society.
Mr. Raj, Head of Administration, MS

After spending the first 22 years of his professional life in the corporate world, eventually becoming a Vice President at GAP, Mr. Raj decided to spend the second half of his career doing something that he was truly passionate about, mentoring children. Mr. Raj comes from a long line of educators. His mother is a highly decorated international teacher and his father, being named the "teacher of love" by the Houston Chronicle. Mr. Raj has been happily married to his wife, Jane, for over 20 years, and enjoys traveling the world.
Ms. Jayna, Director of Education, A.M.I.

Ms. Jayna discovered A.M.I. Montessori when she enrolled her two young daughters in a highly regarded A.M.I. school in the St. Louis area. After witnessing the effects of the Montessori method on her own children, she has devoted her career to guiding other children through the Montessori process. In addition to her Montessori enthusiasm, Ms. Jayna and her husband, Mr. Chuck, enjoy living on the inter-coastal waterway in South St. Petersburg, where their favorite activities include fishing, boating, and exploring the many beaches of Florida.
Ms. Carol, Administrative Assistant

Ms. Carol joined MCH after being a stay at home mom raising three boys. In addition to her administrative role, she guides new families through the enrollment process. Her warm smile, welcoming disposition and enthusiasm for MCH are comforting to parents and students alike. Ms. Carol's college degree is in graphic design and prior to coming to MCH she undertook several freelance jobs, including illustrating a children's book. She still greatly enjoys doing art today, especially portraits. Along with her passion for art, her and her husband enjoy kayaking and hiking in the mountains.
